2009 marks the 22nd year of the
ANNUAL HERITAGE COLLECTION
which is a limited edition and available for one year only.
The motif for the 2009 collection was originally designed in 1913
and is a distinctive Georg Jensen design from the Art Nouveau period.
The range compromises earrings for pierced ears,
ear clips and a pendant, all crafted in sterling silver with silver stones
or lapis lazuli forming a natural element of the motif.

Georg Jensen had a great life-long love affair with silver,
which he thought possessed "that lovely glow of moonlight."
His love for the precious metal enabled him to express himself in a free and assured idiom,
which made him an original and world-famous silver smith.
Georg Jensen was hailed by the New York Herald Tribune as
"The Greatest Silversmith of the Last 300 Years."
